Annual Events

National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual summertime event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. National Night Out promotes neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships to advance safer neighborhoods. If your block is not organizing a NNO event this year, come to the neighborhood event on NE 72nd Ave between Fremont and Klickitat from 6-9pm on Tuesday, August 5th. Bring something to grill or a potluck dish, extra vegetables to trade, and a notebook for writing down the phone numbers of your neighbors.

Neighborhood Clean-Up
This event is held every May at Gregory Heights Middle School. Drop boxes are provided to collect yard debris, household trash, and recyclable items such as paper, wood and metal. Because of hauler regulations, we cannot accept any TV’s, computers, appliances, or hazardous items such as batteries, cleaning chemicals, lawn chemicals, and combustibles.

Neighborhood Garage Sale
Taking place every July, the Neighborhood Garage Sale is a chance to clean-out that neglected attic or find a bargain. If you would like to host a sale, the RNA will take care of advertising with local papers. The RNA also provides maps of the sale homes for you to distribute, as well as garage sale posters for you to personalize with your address.
